Purpose & Scope of Role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic leader to join us with the experience necessary to own, develop and manage the people and resources aligned with the Sales strategy.


As Sales Lead at LETA, you will play a pivotal role in driving our growth by leading our sales team and implementing effective strategies to expand our customer base. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales plans, establishing solid relationships with clients, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
    • Assess current sales methodologies and team structure and implement necessary adjustments to optimize performance. S/he will also build the infrastructure and incentives to facilitate further aggressive growth.
    • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets across all regions.
    • Identify market opportunities, analyze competitors, and recommend strategies to gain a competitive edge.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align sales goals with the overall business objectives.
  1. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Build and lead a high-performing sales team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship to achieve individual and team targets.
    • Set clear performance expectations, establish sales goals, and monitor team performance regularly.
    • Conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance evaluations to drive continuous improvement.
  1. Client Relationship Management:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and attending industry events.
    • Establish strong relationships with key clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
  1. Sales Process Optimization:
    • Streamline and optimize the sales process to enhance efficiency and productivity.
    • Implement sales tools, systems and analytics to track sales performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Provide insights and recommendations to enhance the sales process and increase conversion rates.
  1. Sales Forecasting and Reporting:
    • Monitor sales pipeline, track key sales metrics, and generate authentic sales forecasts.
    • Prepare regular sales reports and executive team presentations highlighting performance, trends, and opportunities.
  1. Industry Knowledge and Market Research:
    • Demonstrate strategic thought leadership and executive presence by consulting with clients and industry experts, developing and advancing LETA’s agenda through various platforms.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
    • Conduct market research to identify new target segments and potential business opportunities.
    • Share industry insights with the team to inform sales strategies and decision-making.

Skills, Experience and Competencies

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a B2B SaaS sales role, experience selling SaaS logistics solutions is a plus.
  • The hunger and desire to build again. No matter how senior, you’re eager to get your hands dirty, tackle a new challenge, and make an impact.
  • Strong orientation towards metrics with a proven methodology for setting attainable yet ambitious targets, routinely assessing productivity/progress and making real-time adjustments.
  • Highly adaptable with a comprehension of the life cycles of a startup.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills coupled with interpersonal abilities.
